What this ledger will never contain.
A public record of who received money is a map of who is vulnerable. Consumer and location data brokers sell to government agencies, and immigration enforcement is among the buyers. So the record is built to be auditable and useless as a search tool at the same time:
- No names, handles, initials, or photos — a stitch ID is all any entry ever gets.
- No city, corridor, or neighbourhood on any individual entry.
- Dates coarsened to the month. Amounts rounded. Never a timestamp.
- No immigration status, country of origin, or government ID. Your identity vault may hold credentials you chose to put there — this public ledger never contains any of it, and the two are stored apart.
- No map of who vouched for whom. That graph is not published, and it is not kept on our servers to publish.
- Entries are never removed — a fray is part of the record, and so is its repair.
Sample data. When the pilot opens, this page becomes the real feed — generated from the fund ledger, never edited by hand, including the frays. If 60% comes back, this page will say 60%.
